I have for a very long time now, been planning to paint my stairs in a vintage theme. Very ‘alternative’, very ‘shabby chic’, very eclectic. At long last the deed has been done!! And so I share it with you. It took a while, seeing that I have a family who wouldnt understand the instruction ‘dont step on alternate stairs’. So It was a matter of placing strategically positioned signs either side of the one step that had been painted, stating ‘WET PAINT’ Anyway, it worked! But took a week to paint. Given that Ive been waiting to do this for Oh I dont know, 3 years I guess, progress was made. And then the finished article. Im so so pleased with it. Needs a wipe over every few days as its lighter than previously. And the same family that doesnt understand the instruction ‘dont step on alternate stairs’, wouldnt understand the instruction ‘tread careful on our new vintage stairs’ So I hope you like it.
